The story of giving the ring of Imam Ali (AS) is widely reflected both in the Quran and in ancient historical and literary sources and is tied to the discussion of his guardianship. Of course, the historical, mythological and symbolic roots of this event give new meanings to the concept of Velayat gin this event, which is especially reflected in mystical literature. Also, in the sub-literary genre of Velayat-nameh, which is defined under Shia literature, we can see the sub-Narratives that are the continuation of the event mentioned in Surah Ma'idah. In this essay while researching in Persian poetry to find the extent of reflection of this event, we seek to explain its implicit meanings which are derived from mythological and symbolic concepts. The findings of this research, which was carried out with a descriptive and analytical method, show us that the side stories formed in Velayat Namahs are not the product of poetic imagination; Rather, it is also mentioned in theological texts before them.
