چکیده
مترجمان قرآن کریم هنگامی درتلاشند تا این کتاب مقدس رابه زبان‌های مختلف خصوصاًزبان انگلیسی ترجمه‌کنند، با چالش‌های قابل توجهی مواجه‌می‌‌شوند.با توجه به این مسئله، پژوهش استخراج ‌شود و چگونگی ترجمۀ آن‌ها نمایان‌گردد. نتایج این مطالعه نشان‌می دهدکه در آیات قرآن کریم نمونه ‌‌‌هایی ازدشواری ‌های زبانی و فرهنگی وجود‌داشت که مترجمان را با مشکلات جدی مواجه‌‌‌‌‌‌‌کرده‌ بودوآن‌ها از راه‌کارهای مختلفی برای ترجمۀ این موارد حاضربر آن است تا مشکلات زبانی و فرهنگی ترجمۀ قرآن کریم را در دو ترجمۀ انگلیسی یوسف علی و آربری مورد بررسی و مقایسه قرار‌دهد. علاوه بر این، محقق برای بررسی میزان دقت مترجمان در ترجمه مواردزبانی و فرهنگی از کتاب تفسیر قرآن توسط حجة الاسلام قرائتی استفاده‌-کرده‌است. نگارنده برای ارزیابی راه‌کارهای اتخاذ‌شده توسط دومترجم ذکر‌شده در ترجمه موارد زبانی وفرهنگی از نظریۀ پیتر نیومارک بهره‌جسته‌است.در این مقاله، با استفاده از روش تحلیلی – مقایسه‌ای،تفسیر و ترجمۀ انگلیسی آیات مختلف قرآن کریم مورد بررسی قرار‌گرفته‌است تا نمونه ‌هایی از دشواری‌ های زبانی و فرهنگی استفاده‌کرده‌‌بودند که پر کاربردترین این راهکارها ترجمه تحت اللفظی بود اما متأسفانه در اکثر مواقع در انتقال معنی دقیق و کامل ناموفق ‌بوده‌اند. امیداست یافته‌های حاضر برای علاقمندان به ترجمۀ قرآن کریم به زبان انگلیسی مفید باشد و آنان را از مشکلات ترجمۀ آن آگاه‌سازد.

چکیده English

Translators of the Holy Qur’an frequently face considerable challenging while trying to translate the sacred textual content into different language, mainly English. The present study aims at examining linguistic and cultural problems in two English translation of Holy Qur’an as provided by Yusuf Ali (1934) and Arberry (1955). In addition, researcher used Quranic exegesis by Qaraati (1383) to examine the translators’ level of accuracy in translating of linguistic and cultural items. The theoretical framework is based on the theory of Peter Newmark (1988) to evaluate the strategies adopted by the authors of two English translations of the Holy Qur’an when faced with a sample of linguistic and cultural items. In this study used comparative analytical method and data were collected from various verses of the holy Qur’an.The analysis of the data showed that there are some Linguistic and cultural problems that face the translators when translating Qur’anic verses into English and two translators used various strategies to translate linguistic and cultural items, the most widely used of which was literal translation , but unfortunately, in most cases, they failed to convey the exact and complete meaning. The results of the study have showed this paper could be beneficial for those who are interested in the translation of the Holy Qur’an into English and informs about problems of translating this sacred text.
