The book "Feminist Edges of the Qur'an" which was published in 2014, can be considered as the most important work of Aisha Hedayatullah. This book is in fact the product of the author's years of exploring the feminist works of the Qur'an. Hedayatullah holds a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and has held a chair in the American Academy of Religions since 2008. She has published important works on gender discourse in Islam and studies. The book "Feminist edge of the Qur'an" was first published in 2014 and has been reprinted many times. This book is a methodology of feminist exegesis of the Qur'an in the contemporary era. In this book, after introducing famous works with the tendency of feminist exegesis of the Qur'an, the author coherently expresses the origins, concepts and analytical methods of these commentators and then criticizes this interpretive tendency. A prominent feature of this book is the author's careful consideration in explaining the internal contradictions of the views of womencentered commentators in the interpretation of verses related to women.
