Abstract
Hopefulness is a fundamental element in the evolution and progress of human societies. It provides the necessary motivation and fuels human aspiration to achieve their goals, ultimately leading to growth. Since the family is the most suitable educational environment, influencing human beliefs, habits, and behaviors, it plays an irreplaceable role in instilling educational elements, providing identity to individuals, and promoting society. Therefore, the aim of this research is to examine the impact of monotheistic belief in the family, as one of the fundamental principles of Islam, on the element of hopefulness, which is an integral part of life. This article is conducted using a descriptive-analytical method and information gathering from libraries. The findings indicate that three types of hope are introduced in the Quran: desirable, undesirable, and hope for things that there is no hope for. The impact of monotheistic belief on all three types is effective, and to the extent that the levels of monotheistic belief increase, the quality of hope tends towards its true and desirable form, and moves away from undesirable and false hope. The third type of hope is also the product of the peak of monotheistic belief and its high levels. The research result confirms that the outcome of monotheistic belief, in one word, is true hopefulness, based on the realities of existence, which grows through the family and spreads into society.
